THE NLFA PARTNERS WITH THE ELITE GRIDIRON GROUP

THE NLFA JOINS THE AMERICAN FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION

NLFA Coaches And Staff

Hello all, I know it's been a while, but here's an update to our current situation in terms of when we can potentially resume our season. Please see below:

News

Bossier City, LA -  The North Louisiana Football Alliance and Scouting Report announced today that they've made an agreement to officially partner and work together to provide a pathway for players out of high school looking to work their way into some level of professional football.

Scouting Report will provide the NLFA with access to its extensive database of young athletes, and assist the league with procuring talent. The league sees this partnership as a step in the right direction as it focuses on providing more opportunities, as well as finding and developing deserving young talent.

"Having the Scouting Report on board adds a much easier process for our league to discover and develop players for next-level opportunities," said NLFA president Holland Witherspoon.

The NLFA is currently preparing for its fourth season and is eager to get its athletes back on the gridiron and fans ready for the league's first snap of 2023.

About Scouting Report

The Scouting Report is a recruiting platform that provides coaches with the best-in-class recruiting technology solutions for High School Athletics based in Big Sandy, Texas. There are over 36 high schools that use their recruiting platform.

About the North Louisiana Football

The North Louisiana Football Alliance (NLFA) is a nine-man developmental football league based in Bossier City, Louisiana. The league operates as a single entity, owning all eight teams, all of which play their games at two hub locations within the Ark-La-Tex region during the spring from March to May.

Bossier City, LA - After months of searching, the North Louisiana Football Alliance has found and made its final decision on a third hub location for teams to play during the regular season. Today the league announced that Longview, Texas will become the next hub city location for the 2023 season and beyond.

Since the league's inception, the NLFA has had its sights set on expanding operations to east Texas, with plans to host two teams at that location. The Eagles saw a brief piece of the action during the 2021 season and sat out the 2022 season due to a lack of personnel. With the 2023 season around the corner, the NLFA hopes to change the narrative with its second football club, the Wranglers, solidifying its presence in east Texas.

Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Odds: Can KC Become First Team With 3 Straight SB Wins?

The Kansas City Chiefs dynasty may be undeniable, but that doesn't mean there isn't work to be done. The Chiefs could become the first team to ever win three straight Super Bowls. With that in mind, what's next for Patrick Mahomes & Co.?

Despite their sustained excellence over the years, doubters were unshy about vocalizing that this year's iteration of the Kansas City Chiefs did not have what it takes to win the Super Bowl. But after another classic Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid performance, the Chiefs are now back-to-back Super Bowl champions.

Super Bowl odds opened with the San Francisco 49ers — not the Chiefs, the team that beat them — as the betting favorites to win next year in New Orleans.

Now, let's take a look at where the Chiefs go from here as they embark on a journey to potentially become the first team to win three straight Super Bowls.

Patrick Mahomes completed a whopping 34 passes on 46 attempts, good for two touchdowns and 333 yards with the only blemish being an early interception. He also added a lot of value with his feet, running nine times for 66 yards including an eight-yard run on 4th-and-1 from his own 36 to keep the Kansas City Chiefs alive in overtime against the San Francisco 49ers. He did it again for 19 yards on 3rd-and-1 later that drive, avoiding a game-tying field goal scenario and putting the Chiefs in prime territory to deliver his eventual game-winning touchdown pass to Mecole Hardman.

And while Andy Reid and Mahomes' offense is always the center of attention, defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo deserves his flowers for his defense's performance in Vegas and throughout these playoffs. They held the Dolphins (third in points per game), Bills (sixth), Ravens (fourth), and 49ers (second) to just 63 combined points.

The standout on that side of the ball was once again Nick Bolton, who strung together 13 total tackles, including five solo tackles and a tackle for loss. This comes just a year after a near Super Bowl MVP-worthy performance last year in which he had nine total tackles (eight solo) and a fumble recovery for a touchdown.

And of course, Harrison Butker cannot go unmentioned when talking about the Chiefs' win. Butker made a LOT of history on Sunday night, including breaking the Super Bowl records for longest field goal made (57 yards) and most career field goals made (nine) while tying the record for most field goals made in a game (four). He also moved to second all-time in career Super Bowl points, with his 37 now trailing just Jerry Rice's 48.

Hello all,

First I’d like to thank everyone for their patience in terms of our current situation in dealing with everything surrounding COVID-19. I’m sure everyone has been glued to the TV hoping to see a ray of light to shine on when we’ll be able to resume our inaugural season. With that being said, here’s the latest update on COVID-19 guidelines for sports in the state of Louisiana.
